Sheppco is a web design company based in Pittsburgh, PA. I have many clients in the Boston area because I lived there from 1985 through 2007. From 1995 until 2001 I worked for a web development company called Stumpworld. Stumpworld created Online Merchant, a software that created e-comm websites, and managed buyitonline.com, a web portal to stores built with Online Merchant. It was a sweet set back then.
In 2000 Stumpworld, Online Merchant, and buyitonline.com were bought buy a Canadian company and put under a new and “improved” business model. This lasted a year after which we were all dropped. Splat.
Sheppco took off with web design and web development projects for several former Stumpworld employees now off on their own. Many of these clients are still with me today (knock, knock, knocking on wood).
